Sacramento Metropolitan AQMD Fall 2022 Community Air Quality Grant
The Sac Metro Air District has over $3.4 million to fund clean air quality projects in Sacramento County. A primary purpose of this funding is to promote zero-emission equipment as an alternative to diesel equipment in communities affected by air pollution.
Disadvantaged and environmental justice communities are a focus, but applications are open to businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and others for other off-road project categories.
Colorado
Colorado Clean Diesel Program
The Colorado Clean Diesel Program (CCDP) provides grants as high as 25-45% of a project’s cost to accelerate adoption of new technologies that significantly reduce diesel emissions. Available grants help offset the cost of replacing diesel equipment with all-electric or hybrid-electric equivalents. Businesses or other entities that own certain types of diesel equipment may apply.

New Mexico
New Mexico Clean Diesel Program
New Mexico Environmental Department (NMED) provides grant funding through its New Mexico Clean Diesel Program for projects that reduce harmful heavy-duty diesel emissions. With EPA funding through the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA), NMED is seeking proposals for DERA projects that effectively reduce emissions from heavy-duty diesel-fueled vehicles and equipment.
Oregon
Oregon Diesel Emission Mitigation Grant Program
In 2019, the Oregon Legislature authorized the Diesel Emission Mitigation Grant Program to support businesses, governments and equipment owners in replacing older, more polluting diesel engines with new, cleaner technologies and exhaust control retrofits. Grants are distributed as a reimbursement of eligible project costs incurred during the project period. This program prioritizes pollution reductions in areas of Oregon that have the highest emissions of NOx and particulate matter from diesel engines.
